About

We decided to stop buying any products that are made from pearl in real life because  pearl trade involves oysters that are hunted on a massive scale which in turn disrupts the ecosystem and eventually leads to degradation of our environment. Pearls in the ancient days used to be considered to bring good fortune besides its monetary values.

It isn’t the case anymore as oysters are snatched from the ocean just to have their pearls extracted and the shells are left to their own demise, all so that it may end up as jewelry.

For the reason of saving what is left of our oyster ecosystem in the oceans, we present Pearl pLarry as an alternative to engaging our pearly cravings and it makes sense to do so as in this day and age whereby virtual-reality is so much more a part of our lives then we realize.

Pearls and oyster farming in real life inspires us to build virtual alternatives, such as pearl oyster, pearl, and pearl ring. A customer in SL can sell them as they are transferable stuff. Some  pearl oyster are special, like the ones which shine at the ring, or called ‘Reae’.which is considered a rare commodity even in Second Life.
